Model: Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 15ILL9
Machine Type Model: 83HM
Motherboard ID: LNVNB161216
TLDR: I would like to have the clean BIOS dump file for my laptop model.
Issue: First, my speaker wasn't working/showing up, so I downloaded the recommended BIOS update (from Jan 4, 2026) on Lenovo Support for my laptop. This didn't fix the speaker issue after restarting, so then I shut it down and pressed the power button for 60 seconds to perform a reset. I'm guessing I somehow messed up the BIOS because now the laptop won't turn on even after trying the NOVO button on the bottom. I also extracted the BIOS update file (from Jan 4, 2026) from Lenovo Support, put it on a 16GB USB (formatted to FAT32 and Master Boot Record), then did this combo (plugged in USB, Hold Fn+R, plug in charger, press power button once). This caused the LED next to the charging port to blink orange on/off for about 15 seconds then turning into a constant white. Then in the first minute or so, the backlit keyboard would periodically turn on and off, each accompanied with some faint beeping/whirring I could hear when putting my ear near the keyboard. However, the sounds and keyboard lights then shut off for the remainder of the 15 minutes I waited (because I saw online/Gemini that during this time, the laptop is supposed to do some memory training if flashing worked). I would like to try flashing the clean BIOS dump file which is supposedly 16MB or 32MB and not the 8.61MB update file that is publicly listed. I am planning to buy a CH341A Programmer and WSON8 probe as suggested by Gemini to eventually flash this clean dump file onto my laptop via USB. Any help/input would be very, very appreciated and of course obtaining the clean BIOS dump file if possible. Thank you everyone!
