Thank you for the reply. To be honest, I don’t have a hardware programmer (like a CH341A) to dump the chip physically right now.
Since I'm on an EliteBook 830 G6 and I have the halt code qeh11u1kst, do you know if there is any other software-based way to get you the file you need? Or is a hardware programmer the only option for this model?

Sorry for the long story. I have a Dell Latitude 5530 (i7) laptop (South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4 203102-1 FK8VG$JA) with an admin BIOS password that I want to remove. Service Tag: HYKFPT3. Other than that the laptop worked OK.
I found a CH341A Black and went looking for the BIOS chip on the motherboard. After trying to read one chip that was a firmware chip but not the BIOS I think I found the BIOS chip labeled Winbond 25Q256JVEN. Altogether I think I found 4 different firmware chips in the laptop. Bios is a pct25vf032b, I can't get it to read or even detect it with any software or driver combination I've used, and my modded black CH341A. Mobo is 1310A2423502, SN is 5S1CM20TMB. How do I get you guys a bios dump if it won't read it? And how do I get rid of this darn bios password?
