Search $FID, it's N24JU, your version is 05 11 00 12 (R0512), some parts are different -
Thanks. I tried the latest BIOS (1.05.14) on there (https://repo.palkeo.com/clevo-mirror/N2xxJU/B0514.zip, N24JU8M.14 file) but still no boot (the power button light up the blue power led but no fan spin and no display). Do you know where I can find the BIOS version in the file I've dumped? I've got trouble to find the offset containing the BIOS version. RegardsLeave a comment:

https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...before-posting .Post your bios backup, laptop serial number, motherboard model number.I have a non booting Clevo N240JU laptop which I think as a bad BIOS as the boards seems OK. I don't think I can link to the official website of Clevo but there's plenty of drivers other there for the N240JU laptop but no BIOS.
Does anyone got a BIOS dump for this laptop? Thanks!Leave a comment:

by TopPopSorry for the long story. I have a Dell Latitude 5530 (i7) laptop (South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4 203102-1 FK8VG$JA) with an admin BIOS password that I want to remove. Service Tag: HYKFPT3. Other than that the laptop worked OK.
I found a CH341A Black and went looking for the BIOS chip on the motherboard. After trying to read one chip that was a firmware chip but not the BIOS I think I found the BIOS chip labeled Winbond 25Q256JVEN. Altogether I think I found 4 different firmware chips in the laptop. The BIOS chip is a WSON8 6x8. I used the CH341A, NeoProgrammer, and a cheap pogo pin clip... -
by BloodhoundjeHi everyone,
I have been doing hardware repair as a hobby for some years now and recently decided to learn about repairing laptops as a fun challenge.
I managed to get my hands on a "HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec2523nd" notebook that only shows a white power LED and doesnt respond to anything.
After initial testing I concluded the bios seems to be corrupted since all voltages are normal and there are no shorts. HP has a feature for a bios restore from USB with winkey+B for this model. This did not work.
I have desoldered the bios chip (GigaDevice...-

by george94I have a laptop which i am trying to fix in which user enabled overclocking from bios and now it does not post.
Laptop with battery only: when power button pressed, power led lights for 10 seconds then turns off
Laptop with charger: white led in the charger and battery is charging, when power button pressed power led lights and it wont turn off
With multimeter i checked and i found out that:
EC chips gets 3.3 volts and it is not shorted (also no shorts on the board too)
Cpu power rail is fluctuating between 0 and 300 milivolts when charger is connected

by thxd43Hello, first of all, excuse me, I am using the translator, English is not my native language.
I have a Lenovo ideapad 330S - 14IKB laptop.
The tablet did not recognize me when I connected it, so I checked the device manager and I realized that there were many with the exclamation mark, so one by one I began to update their drivers until the sign disappeared of admiration, I even updated the BIOS, and the laptop rebooted normally and worked, so far so good, but the tablet still did not recognize me, I read on the internet that it could be due to a... - Loading...
