Password is on NPCX997 chip from 2nd picture, you need a special programmer for it, such as SVOD4
    More info: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...-svod4-npcx997

Or is the second image the chip I've been looking for ? I looked up the info on it GD25LR256EYIG is I believe the 32mb ? And the other one is the 16 ? Am I right ? And if so, how do I go about getting the bios dump, modifying it, flashing it and writing it, turning the computer on, follow instructions from other thread, press space twice, put no password, ect ect, then shut off, and reflashing original bios, is that how I do it ?

Does anyone can help? Does anyone has a working BIOS? Is it possible to use similar BIOS? (which i highly doubt).

BIOS Request - Lenovo Yoga L13 Gen3 (AMD)

    Hi dear Badcaps-Community,

Somehow an auto update, which I triggered before I left my laptop unattended, bricked my BIOS.
I was able to extract the 2MB BIOS and 16MB BIOS which I will attend. (CH341B black with NeoProgrammer 2.2.0.10)

The Device is a Lenovo Yoga L13 Gen3 and I was able to identify the following specifications:

Lenovo Yoga L13 Gen 3 AMD:
    Lenovo Modell: Type 21BB
    Artikelnr.21BB006GGE
    Seriennummer: PW0A6207
    AMD Ryzen™ 5 PRO 5675U
    Memory 16 GB DDR4-3200MHz
SSD: 512 GB SSD, M.2 2242, PCIe Gen4, TLC, Opal
    Display type: 13,3" WUXG

    System Board:
    Lenovo BDPLANAR R5PRO 5675U,16G,RZ616,YdTWINyAB
    Repalcement Unit: 5B21H47118 (System Board)
    2MB Chip: XMC XM25QH16CHIG
    32MB Chip: Winbond 74M25JWEIQ 2326 6324 M0031

    BIOS: Update

    Problem:
At first The Escape and F1 LEDs were providing some light but no further reaction. I used the hardware reset button and now the LEDs aren't shining anymore. Nevertheless, tried everything to recover the laptop, support-Keyboard and Power kombinations, nothing worked so far, could any of you be so helpful and assist me with a useful BIOS binary?

Ps.: It is the first time I have to solve such an issue, I hope the provided information are suitable and fit the purpose.

    Best regards

Need Clean BIOS/EC Bin File for Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e - Stuck with 0275 Error CMS

    Hello everyone,

I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.

This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.

I have opened the laptop and identified the main BIOS chip...

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem

    Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
    Initial Findings:
    • My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
    • I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
    • I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
    Troubleshooting Steps & Conclusions:
    • I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
    • I concluded that the

Lenovo Yoga X1 Gen4 - Faulty Bios or what is going on?
    by AYsys
    Hello dear forum members,

I own two Lenovo Yoga X1 Gen 4 laptops. One of them had a touchscreen problem, and I tried to fix it by externally flashing the BIOS. Unfortunately, I didn’t save the original BIOS and accidentally flashed it with a faulty one. After that, the device stopped working completely.

I then had the idea to make a BIOS backup from the other Yoga X1 Gen 4 (same hardware) and flash it onto the non-working device.
Nothing was flashed here — the BIOS was only backed up.

I created the backup using a CH341A Black programmer and NeoProgrammer....

Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 (serial number: MP2BFZEF) bios request
    by Wahaz
    Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....
