I have a Dell G15 5525 that charges, responds to the power button, and pulls ~12 W with the battery disconnected. Fans spin, but there’s no internal or external video, and the caps lock LED stays on. I’ve checked power rails — all look good, no shorts found.
The laptop shows a blink code of 2 orange, 3 white. I suspect a corrupt BIOS or EC issue. I tried BIOS recovery via USB (battery disconnected, original adapter, etc.), but it didn’t work. I have the full 25Q256JWEQ SPI dump. I need help creating a hybrid BIOS image that updates the main BIOS while preserving the board-specific info (ME/NVRAM/DMI) for flashing.
Thank you in advance
