    BIOS problems, cannot start.

    Question for the technicians
Error during boot. No hard drive, no USB boot possible. BIOS opens normally, all media are displayed. I have tried everything and cannot access the hard drive via boot installation media, e.g. USB Win 11. The system simply stops and the screen remains dark. I reset everything to factory settings in the BIOS menu using the F9 and then F10 keys in order to perform a new installation, e.g. Win 11. The hard drives are clean and formatted with NTFS.
The USB and hard drive boot on other devices, but not on this notebook.
All USB drives and hard drives are recognised in the BIOS.
Please provide a download link to reinstall this BIOS or perhaps a tip from your side.
    BIOS information: PE60RNE_RND_RNC
    BIOS version 1.07.03
    MIFCOM Notebook E Series
    Many thanks in advance.
    Kind regards
    Jockel

Type the laptop serial number, full name and model, motherboard model, etc.
If you have an SPI programmer post the contents of the bios chip even if it is corrupted..

This motherboard has 2 similar chips. One is on the front marked with BIOS SKT "Winbond 25Q256JVEN" and one on the back marked with U351 "Gigadevice 25B256EYIG". I ignored the one on the back and only desoldered front chip. Made a backup, made sure the reading was the same with another 3 backups.

Hi all, I've spent the past week digging through the forums and guides to try correct my foolish mistake of changing hidden settings while tinkering around, and to be honest my heads overloaded so I'm hoping you'll be able to help.

I used a tool called 'Smokeless-UMAF' to access usually hidden settings in the bios. I tweaked one or two 'safe' things but made the mistake of tweaking a lot of settings under 'USB/Thunderbolt Configurations' when I didn't know what they did. For...

Hi, I have a few of these & they came with a custom bios boot logo, no passwords etc.

2 x were brand new unused but with custom boot logo, 1 I installed Windows/ran updates then it bricked itself. 1 wouldn't get past the custom bios boot logo.

The third I loaded windows, took a backup of the bios chip, then tried to flash several different clean bios's via programmer which all caused it to not boot. I tried to reflash the original bios both using clip & desoldering but...

Lenovo LOQ mdl 151RH8 bios Q: Can't get usb boot to list
      by Max029
I've searched and read Beginners guidelines and other sticky threads. This is just a simple bios question. If I may, I'm having trouble finding any help, including from lenovo tech support & forum, for how to get usb boot to list in boot options. I'm trying to run memtest86 so nothing as highfaluting as re-install, flash a bios, etc.

I've made usb boot enabled and secure boot is disabled. I can find no other option in bios ver LZCN34WW (the original bios). Would anyone here be familiar with LOQ or Legion bios versions & know what is going on?
