Thanks, I did try it but behaviour didn't change. I don't have a schematic, but believe its missing a signal from the PCH (like PM_SLP_S4). The laptop has been dropped so suspecting bad balls under the CPU. Laptop was donated as not working so goes to the donor pile.

There is no serial number or anything else on the base plate to provide.

What is new to me is that this is an Intel CPU but the dumps don't conform to any structure that I'm used to to work out if it's corrupt or not. Looks more like an AMD dump. Any both files attached.

In case anyone is interested, I am attaching both bin files extracted from a functional IdeaPad 2-in-1 16IRU9 notebook with S/N YX0BE1NX (Type 83DU).
I verifed both files work by flashing both bios files onto another laptop that was not posting and drawing about 0.2A at any time. I am also posting a photo showing both bios chips' position on the motherboard.

There is inherent issue with Lenovo models having "IRU" in their model name which I posted on a different thread. When flashing bios files belonging to another computer, you also have to flash the contents of the EC chip from that computer as well. Otherwise, as I found out, computer will not recognize the NVME drive after starting computer by pushing the power button. It will work fine after pushing "Cntrl"-"Alt"-"Del". This happens every time. Unfortunately, I do not have the tools to extract the EC chip contents.

But go ahead and try the attached files and please report if they helped you.

Tried the first one, didn't work. Tried the second after and same thing. I'm using CH341A reader with NeoProgrammer. On the 8MB chip it doesn't auto detect — I use W25Q64JV as default

Hi First Try flashing ONLY the 16MB "Chip firthest from CPU"
If it doesn't work then flash both and give feedback

the chipset is powered, the EC is powerred.. 3.3v and 5v are ok.. 1.8V is ok... no shorts... no burned things.. the 3.3 LDO is present...
pressing power button there is activity (3 restarts) .. but after a while the current consumtion become 0.043A... and nothing changes.

anyone has a dump of the 2 eeprom ( from another laptop?) for me looks like a bios/EC issue.
I have same issue. I suspecting EC (ITE IT5571E-128) stucked at S0 state or firmware corrupted. Checked rails and physical damages on board but actually nothing wrong found. If you find something new write here pls bro.

hi the motehrboard model is NB6837C_MB_V3 (as written on post)
there are no stickers on the bottom cover... looking at the laptop visually it's look like a reversible ideapad 2 in 1 .. 14" ... and this topic semes related to an ideapad 2 1 14" with this motherboard. (i've no serial.. can be extracted from EC-BIOS dump?) . the customer don't have anymore the external shipping box.

i will check more infos about the correct model.

    no display, power button blink
the 8 MB bios you sent also a 16MB one...you combined the 8MB bios...
The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..

you need an SPI programmer...here is a video for example..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWi...nnel=ThisIsHow
