I have found this BIOS file on BIOS Archive, which has 2x .bin files. One of them is listed for the W25Q80DVSIG chip (which is on my motherboard near the BIOS chip.

Do you think I need to flash that chip as well with that BIOS file?

When I open the file up there is some retimer code in there...

Hmm interesting... The mobo isn't working as it should so think I am going to flash the bios chip and the TB chip with the related files and see what it does.

Laptop can't be used as it is so may as well!

        Cheers

Link to your repair topic -> https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...-latitude-7420

Please wait for a reply. To summarise, you want the password removing and the ME firmware cleaning.

Try this bios. Give it a few minutes to boot and reboot. It`s not the latest, so get the updater from dell support to upgrade.

The SSD is also now showing in the BIOS and Boot menu!

So happy, thanks again for your help.
