    Lenovo T480s 20L8 bios Dump

    Hello,

i managed to remove the supervisor PW of my Lenovo T480s with autopatcher works like a charm.
The problem i have now is that i cant disable Secure boot. I tried many other dumps from Badcaps they do work but after flash there is the ME Version Line empty
and the bios time is up to 70 seconds. Is there any possibility that some can mod my dump to disable secure boot ?
    Thank you in advance.

Do you mean the Secure Boot option is in gray and you can't change it? Have you tried to set a supervisor password then try to change that option?

Really you made my day. I dont know why but your uploaded dump seems to fit perfect. Please tell me what did you do ? Did you anything about ME Clearing ? Or is it simply one out of stock ?
As i said i patched my original dump with autopatcher because i forgot the supervisor password after that secure boot was disabled and couldnt be enabled. Every single dump i tried ihave some issues.
As i said the orig dum secure Boot loocked other dumps needed more than 60 seconds bios time and so on. I would be very happy to hear what did you do to fix my dump ?

I'm glad to hear it's working.
This bios file isn't your fixed dump, it's a dump I "cooked" for my use and because Lenovo keeps serial, model, pass and other things in EC memory this dump works without errors on any T480s.
In your case Secure Boot greyed out it's a sign of bad bios region and 60 s boot time it's a sign of corrupted ME region.
So as a conclusion, it's easier to write this stock bios than cleaning ME and writing a new bios region to a faulty bios file...

yes my investigation without knowing anything at the beginning leaded me to this conclusion thats something from with ME region. I also tried to reprogram with analyzer but i think that was a way to high for me.
              Thank you very much.

                Hello!
                I bought a dead T480s.

At first when I tried to start it it did start with no picture and run for 15 sec and then shutdown. Pushed power button again and same cycle.

                What I have tried:
                1) Tried another bios from here. It did start take 0,4A and stay that way with black screen. Seemed that it doesn't do restarts.

                2) Desoldered onboard ram resistors. Didn't have any effect.

Now it flashes 3 times light when power is inserted and is dead. Power button does nothing. Power button works when checking with multimeter and also 3V comes. When button pressed the 3v is pulled to 0v so power button is ok.

                TYPE 20L7-001SMX
                S/N PC-0YGNZY
                18/10

I made dump from the original bios. Could you clean it?

Need BIOS Dump/ROM for Lenovo Thinkstation p500
                by AHmad_Salal
                Hello all,
I have a Lenovo Thinkstation P500 that is stuck at post with no display, it happened after I changed the memory timings in bios. I can not clear CMOS using the jumper on the motherboard, also tried re-flashing bios suing a USB stick but it also doesn't work. The only solution that I can think of right now is re-flashing the bios chip using an external programmer but the problem is that I don't have the bios dump of p500 for flashing externally and I don't know the location of bios chip. If someone can provide the bios dump and bios chip location it would be really helpful....

I need a BIOS dump for the Samsung S49CG934SU monitor
                by Habble7
The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

                Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

                Troubleshooting Attempts:

Lenovo ThinkPad L15 Gen 1 i7 (20U4) Bios and EC dump needed
                by Joluvillas
Hi all! I was reading on tutorials how to flash a bios to remove password from a bios, and I ended up reading the EC chip instead of the main bios chip, it only gave me a .bin file of 1,024kb, I learned later that that is the EC chip not the main bios chip (I should have read the tutorials here instead before attempting anything, my bad), I went to flash the original backup, the 1,024kb size file into the same chip and laptop is not powering up anymore. I may have screwed the chip or even the motherboard (Hopefully not), I am trying to see if there is a fix before I discard it. I had a couple...

                Lenovo Tiny8 triple NVMe IQ6X0IL1 HQ670 NM-D581 Rev 0.5 M90q Gen 3 / P360 Tiny prototype board BIOS dump
                by Captaincrap420
Hi, I hope this is the right place to post this. This is my first post on this forum.

A friend helped me get a prototype Lenovo motherboard from China, it's got a hole drilled in it but I'm working on trying to revive it to some degree. I dumped the bios in hopes that it might be useful to someone, since this board is configured with the 3rd NVMe SSD slot and maybe it is useful as a reference for modding another bios to support this function. For example the M90q Gen 2 / P350's unpopulated 3rd NVMe slot footprint maybe.
This bios dump is straight from the chip, nothing has been...

Lenovo X1 Carbon 7th Gen Type 20R1 BIOS DUMP

I have made two dumps of this bios, with the bios chip removed from the board and the hashes match on both dumps, but I cannot find the DMI information in the dumps except for the Windows product key, so I think it is corrupted. I have downloaded two bios updates from the Lenovo support site, but they contain small .PAT file, and 4 subfolders containing .FL1 and .FL2 files, which I don't understand enough to figure out how to use to fix my dump.

The problem with the laptop is that...
