the patcher is ok..write the bios back to the chip with the password and see what happens..

You mean with the system not powering on, i need to erase and rewrite the original bios?

yes...rewrite the original bios with the password...let's see if the laptop still works with it..

PS: With the CH347, you need to remove the EEPROM because it's a lot faster than the previous CH341 but
you can flash at a lower speed with a clip ; it's up to you!

Did not work for Dell 7440 13th gen. Laptop does not turn on fter patch.

Used your tool the latest version that is here to patch the bios. After several attempts the system is running but now its not showing SSD drives.

attached both locked and unlocked bin files.

Hi, it was my fault so apologise my friend. I read your bios thread and looks like there is a bug with that suffix. I used the ones that you suggested and it unlocked it after a few attempts. Save me flashing now, subscribing to help big time. thanks again.

I have a question about the tool, not sure if it worked or not. I ran my bios dump in the tool and got this result:

And assumed it didn't work, so I posted in the bios unlock help thread for the experts to take a look but I just noticed that a new bios file has appeared in the original folder with 'Unlocked' as a prefix.
Does that mean it worked? Or did the task fail successfully?

I'm tempted to try the unlocked file, but I also don't want to have to remove the chip again, any guidance you can give me would be much appreciated.
