sorry, i thought EC bios not contain S/N, but here it is: R90W8XTS
fortunately U2502 is defective and a can't read the content out of it, it's detected on programmer as MX25L8006E but error "no chip is detected" when try to read or erase it

thank's for the info but, i tried almost all the bios image in this forum and all bios image is for U2501 (main bios) based on boardview & schematic i found here https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...hematic-needed, i flashed & re-flashed the bios i've found before realizing that the EC has it's own chip for it's firmware and all the bios flashed had a same result as the original bios.

or maybe main bios also contain ec bios, is that what you meant sir? if it does, which region should i extract it from?
          please advice

What model is your programmer and software version. Why did you try to erase it, it doesn`t make any sense to do that. Did you desolder the chip or use a clip

i use RT809F with software version 20240116, i said tried to erase just to make my self clear that the chip is broken or somehow broken that even trying to erase will result same error. i do have another MX25L8006E chip and worked fine using same programmer for the last two years & that software version almost a year and i always desolder the chip and never used a clip to program a bios chip or other rom chip from the begining i purchased RT809F programmer.

the link you mentioned to try the bios file on post #3, i already did and even trying for yoga S940-IWL model, i flashed almost all 16MByte image i can found to U2501 but the image for U2502 is only 1MByte. i need this 1MByte because all 16MByte bios files i tried had same result as the original 16MByte image that i've manage to read it from U2501 and save it using RT809F programmer and version 20240116 of the software without using a clip (desolder the chip). i also try "fresh" MX25L8006E chip without any data on it (erased it first using RT809F programmer without a clip) replacing the original U2502 that i assumed broken and motherboard behavior changed, not responding to power button press.

i attached 16MByte original bios that on U2501, in case someone needed it

Try this. Not sure if it will work or not as nothing to compare with.

i think it's an ec bios you gave sir, motherboard behavior changed after flashed to a fresh chip, 80% power rail present except VCORE & VCCGT. tried flashing main bios (again) nothing changed. i think PCH is broken, well that's for another thread to tell about.

anyway, file you gave it is working. thank's, you've done amazing work 🍺
