I need help with my Acer Aspire 5920G laptop. Its original GeForce 8600M GT graphics card failed, so I replaced it with an Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT MXM card.

**Problem:** The laptop powers on, but there is no display (black screen) on either the internal LCD or external monitor. This indicates a BIOS compatibility issue with the new graphics card.

1. I have my **original stock BIOS dump (1MB .BIN file)** from my laptop, which works and allows the laptop to power on normally (but no display with 9600M...

to make a long story short I bought this all in one used
with a broken lcd, with the objective of making a custom desktop out of it

,it was working perfectly but unfortunately this motherboard default settings does not show post or bios on external screen, I tried everything and every cable/port/screen also ext gpu or internal i also tried to navigate blindly because I could access bios without seeing...

I have some Acer Spin SP514-54N laptops I wanted to make some changes to the BIOS for.

Using a CH341 USB Bios tool I read the bios successfully. Downloaded a backup copy. Copied that and opened it in a hex editor (HxD). I changed the windows key in the bios after following the guide to find the hex marker. Changed the 25 digits and then compared to the original bios file, and made sure that was the only differences.

My daughter has accidentally managed to kill her Acer gaming desktop it has a blank screen after updating and when you press the power button the fans spin, light comes on and it makes 1 long and 1 short beep and no attempt to boot.

All basic troubleshooting has been done we replaced CPU, GPU and RAM from a working machine and no joy, I also noticed a post on here with the same issue and it was the BIOS. I am pretty sure also because it was doing a BIOS update that stopped it working, she knocked the keyboard out by accident during the update and the screen just went...
