I need CQ42 451tu main bios 4mb &Ec bios 512 kb.
problem was screen with light no image caps &num lock working.
After flasing main bios disply comes boots fine shuts down after 1/2hr.
while starting error massage ME FE UPDATE FALIOUR than boots

Najrul 145 thanks for bios today i tested it.Display comes for 1time after that no image only screen backlitght on ,caps num lock working fine .any idea .or do i need to flash ec bios 512 kb . thanks

I've got experience on cq42-207tu (quanta ax3 Wimbledon) last week. the case seems similar with your issue, caps-lock and num-lock working but no image on the screen (led 14").but if i test with LED 10" back light come out. then when i check CN2 pin1,2,3 i've got 1.6v. should be 3.3v. trace it back to Q1 mosfet. on pin3=3.6v pin2=3.9v pin1=1.6v check on R10 its ok 330k.
then try replace ao3404 (if test not shorted, q2,q3,q4 can't test cause covered flex) voila it's worked, I've got image on the screen.

may be you could check circuit around connector too
