Thanks hoaca388, and everyone else who responded. Unfortunately it didn't change my outcome. Will continue to look into it and try and see what other faults I can uncover.
Again thanks for the help and great community.

I was able to write the new 16MB file you created to the 25QH128CH10 chip. I did however have issue reading the chip next to it 25r64jvsiq "Chip C". After going back to the beginning of the post I realized that the "oldbios" file i created was from the other winbond chip 25q64jwsiq "Chip A" on the board. I went ahead and created an image that identifies and labels the 4 soic8 chips i located on this board.
Chips A,B,C,D
A= 25q64jwsiq
B= XMC QR80BHIG ? had a hard time reading this one
C= 25r64jvsiq
D= XMC 25QH128CH10
So the original "oldbios" dump came from the Chip A and I was not able to read Chip C in circuit so I de soldered that and created a dump for it. Does this file "ChipC_25r64jvsiq.bin" need to be used in anyway to create the 8MB file that is to be flashed or will the 8MB file that was created work ok.
Sorry for the confusion and I really appreciate your help. I just want to make sure I flash the correct bin for the correct chip before re soldering it back on.
Thanks!

Now looking at my own photo i didn't even recognize the other sop-8 XMC chip 25QH128CH10. Is that the one you want me to read that data from or the other winbond chip "25r64jvsiq".
I tried both but wasn't able to get anything usable from either. I am going to desolder the chip and read it that way. I will attach the files when i complete this hopefully in the morning.
Thanks again!

System will not boot. I have tried the normal troubleshooting (external display, unplugged batter for 24hrs, holding the Novo button, tried to boot from usb using every typed of bootable media) i cannot get a display but keyboard backlight lights up but it's not responsive, fans spin and power button flashes but stops. After researching my symptoms, I am leaning towards a bad bios.
I have identified what looks to be 2 bios chips on my motherboard, both winbond but different models. 25q64jwsiq and 25r64jvsiq. I am not 100% if one is some sort of security chip or not.
I am using a CH341A V1.7 programmer and was able to get what appeared to be a successful read from the 25q64jwsiq. I have not tried to read the other chip yet but wanted to get some suggestions on if im heading down the correct path.
I have attached the bios i read from the 25q64jwsiq "oldbios.zip" I also attached the bios I extracted from the offical lenovo bios "newbios.zip" .
Please let me know if I am heading down the right track or if my information, I gathered is leading me down the wrong path.
Thanks!
