The patch won't work if the bios version is latest. use this bin flash both it won't work if you only flash the main you should Flash Both!
first boot press f10 apply factory defaults and restart, 2nd boot reset security settings to defaults and exit.
use BCU and put your original DMI.

    by ShadeRunner
    Hi everyone,

I’m a student currently locked out of the BIOS on my HP EliteBook 830 G6. I bought the laptop second-hand, and the previous owner didn't provide the password. I really need access to the BIOS to change storage settings and boot orders for my studies.

    System Details:
    • Model: HP EliteBook 830 G6
    • Processor: Intel Core i5 (8th Gen)
    • Serial Number: 5CG0080LKD
    • Halt Code (from 3rd fail): qeh11u1kst

I'm hoping someone here can help me generate an SMC.bin file or provide a master password that works for this generation. Any guidance on how to get back...

Lenovo Thinkpad x2-1 Gen 9 BIOS supervisor password removal - Boot Lock
    by GoopyGoober
I bought this laptop on vacation because the seller gave it to me for about 30 bucks converted USD. It's managed by some disbanded company but it worked fine. I was tinkering with it and secure wiped it because I wanted to reinstall windows 11 but the supervisor password locks everything and does not allow me to change anything in the bios menu/setup/etc. To get inside all I have to do is press enter when asked for the password, but other than that: can't change much. It sees me windows iso flash drive but won't allow me to change Secure Boot to let it boot.

    Is a supervisor password...

    by to5it0
    Laptop: HP EliteBook 840 G3

    • When I plug in the charger, the laptop automatically powers on (without pressing the power button).
    • The Caps Lock LED stays ON continuously.
    • The Power LED, Wi-Fi LED, and Mute LED also turn on.
    • After a few seconds, the laptop turns off, then automatically powers on again, creating a continuous power loop.
    Measurements

I checked resistance to ground on the three inductors (coils) near...
