Razer Blade 15 RZ09-0369. Looking for help with XZZ ITE programmer ?

I got a new EC chip cause old one was shorted but I need to reprogram it somehow. I got the chip and the programmer/reader. I also trying to figure out where to hook up the wires for the programmer. It says to connect to SM bus on motherboard . Any help is appreciated.

This programmer seems to use ITE DBGR interface over I2C/SMBus. There's no documentation available but there is some code:

Both are using FTDI chips so there's no need for a special programmer.
Seems that the DBGR interface is activated by sending some magic (not valid I2C) data to the EC. Then it works like a regular I2C device, supporting both reading and writing the flash.

hi, i recently wandering around to read this kind of info. if the FT232H is used in the I2ITE, the codezero also write for reading ENE one. the FT232H is just basically usb to i2c devices right? so is it possible to use ch341a which have capability to do i2c communication to read/write ITE ec chip with correct coding/programming?

after talking with imsprog maintainer, it seems the ch341a unable to send the initial waveform to make the EC get into debug/DFU mode because the in gpio mode, it will be very slow in ch341a sda and scl

Hello! I have a Lenovo Z510 AILZA NM-A181 laptop The IT8586E multicontroller burned down I replaced it, ordered this programmer XZZ IT8390 programmer, and downloaded the app for it. But, I can't find the schematics for this laptop, and I can't figure out where to connect this programmer, there are only 4 GND 3 pins.3V SDA SCL Please tell me what to do..

Hello everyone,
Can the RT809H read and write the IT8227E-256?
I have a ThinkPad E14 GEN3, and I saw that it unlocks using the EC, which is located in the ITE (the chip silkscreen says LENOVO).
Does anyone know if they've been able to do it using this tool?
I only have the T48 and CH341, so there's no way for them to unlock the IT8227E-256?
