i noticed there's a lot of unlock request for this model HP Elitebook 650 G10 and patch won't work if the bios version is latest. use this bin flash both it won't work if you only flash the main you should flash both.
first boot press f10 apply factory defaults and restart, 2nd boot reset security settings to defaults and exit.
use BCU....

Amazing.. worked like a charm. Thank you very much.

Out of interest, I did not need to flash the EC image, just the main bios file. F10, reset all settings, laptop rebooted a few times and went into recovery mode, but then all working and bios password removed! Thank you

Hi all, I would ask for some help/advice. I followed Rex98 instructions and the laptop booted as expected with no password. When applying BCU settings I figured out that I also needed board CT so I shut down the laptop which was running on adapter with battery and 3.3 battery plugged off. I removed the RAM to take a picture of the CT number and then replaced the RAM, plugged in the wi-fi card then the 3.3 and then the battery since I figured I can close the lid. I booted the laptop, the hp logo showed for about 10 s and then it shut down again. Now every time I try to turn it on I first get blinking num lock and f5 and f7 keys (5 times) and after this 7 simultaneous blinks of num lock and caps lock (BIOS issue). I tried reflashing both main BIOS and EC but nothing changes. Any ideas what could it be?
Also the MTM counter was at 1 before last shut down.
UPDATE: For some reason after I gave it another try, the laptop turned on, I got into bios, set factury defaults, and after the reset the situation is the same as described. I don't consider myself a beginner but this has got me stumped.
