Sharing the latest version of Lenovo Golden Key I found to change DMI information such as serial number, MTM, UUID. Run the U1 application and create a bootable USB. It may show an older version upon making the usb. Restart the program and it will update the USB to the next version available. For some reason the updater program does not upgrade all the way to the newest version, only incrementally until it reaches the latest. So do this, Open the u1.exe run the update, close the program, open and run again, close it and repeat until you get to the latest version 3.5.60.

I have tried it with the latest version and getting error :

Directory: 'Trace' already exists
scrip error status: unsupported (line 74)

second time I tried then I got line 84 error.

Hi,

Long story short lenovo had replaced on site 3 times the motherboard due to hardware related issues and still they could not update the serial number in the bios. Now they want me to send the laptop to the depo but I can not so I wanted to fix this issue on my own. I still have issue when the battery is either fully charged or discharged with the power supply connected the system just reboots

It seems to be a again hardware issue so I had escalated the matter and the technician refuse to help an further.

Post your bios backup in a new bios request thread and we`ll have a look at it.

Hey guys, could you please help me. For some reason the format tool is not working. The USB stick is correctly attached and the tool shows it, too. When clicking on the format tool button the popup appears with earasing all data and stuff but after accepting it nothing happens. What could be the reason.
