no, it's impossible and maybe will never be (same for mec1503).

Yes, as you can see i get GND from usb, you can get GND from any place on motherboard.
Tip: disconnect the speakers while you try, it's much easier without constant beeping

Maxpower3 Do you believe that Ctrl-Alt-Del works exact the same way as power on/off or not?

I always use Ctrl alt del to do the bypass,
I leave the PC started normally, then ctrlalt del and bypass

Hello Maxpower3 i have a small info, perhaps it's useless though.

Remember the T480s that i bricked with the load defaults and F10? Yesterday that i tried it again was beeping a Lenovo diag melody, i managed to make it post again with a simple RTC reset (all batteries disconnected, psu disconnected, power button pressed for ~1 minute).

For some strange reason the glitch wasn't working on it (bios 1.31) perhaps EC got corrupted due to F10, so i tried to flash the next version (1.33), EC got updated with 1.33 and glitch was possible again.

Try your bricks again, perhaps you can resurrect them this way.

Hey, thanks for providing this method Maxpower3, i successfully unlocked a P53. I now have a x390 that appears to be bricked, No power led and not responding to powerbutton. Tried reset button for 30 seconds+ aswell as disconnecting the whole motherboard for hours.

Is there any way of resurecting this? I assume it is because the MEC1663 got corrupted, is it possible to reprogram through JTAG or spi? The board gets power.

Try to disconnect all batteries for a few days. One T480s that i got here was revived after some days, was bricked due to load defaults and save while i was using the glitch.

yes, he is right. Sometimes he lives again but sometimes he dies. I also have an X390 which died like this. I haven't taken care of it yet

I’ve had it disconnected for at least 3 days and it did’t really do anything. Still completely dead, No led from charger or anything, sadly.

Are you sure is bricked and not just faulty?

Meanwhile i succeed unlocking another T480s, i have the feeling that if you go just before LENOVO logo (perhaps some milliseconds with LENOVO logo on) is easier to trigger it.

It worked fine until the last attempt that gave me some errors, then it just shut down and never woke up again.

If you didn't saved on BIOS then perhaps it's not bricked. Open thread with schematics and boardview (if possible) to check all voltages, perhaps another member has a good advice on this.
By the way, even if bricked the charger port LED should power on.

On P52 i see the LPC traces with and without resistors.
Where should i solder, before (right on JDBUG1) or after resistors?
                              Thank you in advance!

                                if resistances present, use JDBUG1
otherwise go before the resistance if absent

resistance 0 ohm, made as simple as possible for you otherwise
