                got X1 CARBON 7TH GEN_NM-C661_MEC1663,
changed Supervisor Password (Blank), Changed System Management Password (Blank), Power ON Password (Blank) and Clear Security Chip, then Press CTRL ALT DEL to restart, but the Password still Present. did i make a mistake on this model?

Clear supervisor password with twice blank
and manager with twice blank password
                Clear security chip too
After just Ctrl alt del and try
                if Mec need many tries

For Lenovo T490s NM-B891 Which pin to short to GND?
I have checked all posts and found the schematics just need confirmation as I'm right.
I need to ground PIN 10 of the J9301?? (I will use tweezers...)

                            Thanks for the answer

I have to start very early to pass, well before backlighting.
I have not yet fully understood how.
I also managed to get errors like uuid or others

not yet able to remove the password

I have to boot a few seconds after a ctrl alt del.
                                          just before the light

no cmos, no power button, only one card. so not much choice

the timings already change between Mec ite and ncp.
I have a slow startup on this machine, it's not easy to know when to play

this AMD model had to keep the LPC because it does not freeze easily
