Guy from Algeria insists that patches the bios to perform "security reset" and this disables password on gen 2 gen 3 and gen 4.
    Probably means "reset security chip"?
Is it possible to be that simple?

you can't reset it when a password is set... what you can try is to force a reset via adapting the security settings dxe section maybe...

Update, they claim they have a "factory bios" that does all the job.
Not sure if it's true though.

Perhaps it's a "technician" version, i know that authorised technicians have some special tools.
And that gives me hope that perhaps we manage to replicate it, since it's just bios chip dump.

yeah, there might be some flags set differently. what i could imagine is, that you can edit all settings even a password is set and clear the security chip to blank the svp. normally these fields are greyed out and aren't accesible. but maybe he lies, i don't know...

It is a fact, not a rumor or a scam. I asked some friends from Morocco and Algeria, and they told me that it is indeed true. I will deal with them. They have BIOS for generations 6/7/8. BIOS Factory code is automatically erased. This Collection of BIOS is available for sale. The new generation is not for sale yet, as published on their Facebook page.

Hi everyone and excuse my english

we sent 2 computers to this guy to test and it's true that he unlocked them but there was no physical or software modification on the BIOS, but when we looked under a microscope to have more details, the LD03 espi point was affected by sweating

well, that's great to hear, thank you for the information. maybe he lies, like i said (the guy from north africa). i would do the same maybe if it would be my business. this could be a hint. is there more: any spots of soldering near the mec or on the other side? thank you very much.

                        nothing around the chip.
I think it's a bypass in the same way as our friend Maxpower3

we sent an X13 Gen 2 and a T14S gen 2 which have the same motherboard and the same IO chip (Mec1503)
and sorry I can't take photos because we returned them to their owners

Yes, I have previously tried on more than one device and more than a hundred times x13, t14s t14, I tried on espi0,1, 2, 3 ,it remains stuck on the logo or a black screen and the processor heats up and the fan spins quickly
