Hi Maxpower3 ,
First of all thank you for your great work!
I'm trying to remove the BIOS password from my p14s gen 4 amd (21K5), would the method described work on this model?
I'm trying to locate the EC on the motherboard but can't find it, would you have any information on the EC location or how to access the LPC bus?

Thank you for these ways, but unfortunately t14 gen2 only has eSPI in its scheme. The fact is that there are people who do this unlocking but are keeping the seven keys, they don't sell and also don't contribute with the information, I've already taken more than 10 pieces of equipment of this model and dismissed it for not having a solution for them, and giving it as scrap. Right here in the forum there are people who say they managed to solve it but don't pass on the information.

after many try
I managed to enter the bios, but the tabs are missing.
The Espi connector is not connected, the resistors are missing
so it must be connected near the EC
I have to start very early to pass, well before backlighting.
I have not yet fully understood how.
I also managed to get errors like uuid or others
not yet able to remove the password
Early glitch gave me exactly these errors.
Try this way, very interesting case.
Update:now that i remember details, i never managed to trigger the glitch with 1.13 so i updated to next version of bios. Try next version too and try the way i wroteLast edited by Andreasbest; 09-13-2024, 04:07 AM.

It's PROGRAMMBLE but MEC1503 SRAM-based nature. It's not a rom. So you can't program from programmer. Mec1503 collect data from main bios when power on. • SRAM is volatile memory, which means it does not retain data when the power is turned off.
