whats your exact problem? does the machine turn on??

Original problem:
Bought a laptop from user who stated that they changed an unknown BIOS setting and no longer posts, but charging light and power light were on with no external display showing.

This was remedied temporarily - I unplugged the CMOS battery which then allowed the device to boot into the BIOS, but then would freeze after a certain amount of time, each time this got shorter until it no longer turned on and this stopped working and went back to the original no POST, but fans spun temp and power light still turned on. CMOS battery has been replaced as a precaution.

The second backup I did seemed to also have been bad, as when flashing that back onto the device it does not show the power on light nor fans spinning, using the previously mentioned BIOS file allowed for the laptop to power on the light again and now fans spin at full speed until it is turned off.

This is where I am at currently, another user in this thread seemed to have the same problem on the same system, but he had water damage to the motherboard, which I do not and he was not able to fix it either.

The dump from Infodoc02 - ME_Cleaned.rar got my laptop back to the original issue, seems that the other user with the same specs as me had a similar issue so I'm going to try the backup he posted, but I am a bit confused, is he talking about the UVBIOS and not the BIOS chip beside u2201?

I think the 2nd backup I took also wasn't very good, flashed the last file from this thread that shouldn't be compatible and got lights back flashing on the laptop - if anyone could provide me with a clean new one that would be much appreciate

Tried it and does not show light when power button is pressed, went to OG BIOS and now same thing, fear I may have cooked this thing ;-;

I'm guessing I've blown/shorted something, erased BIOS, wrote the new BIOS to it and then verified it without any issues, that would be my only guess, ty for taking the time to help me

Using a Pogo adapter as I couldn't get a clip to recognise nor stay on. shaky hands is probably what did it lol, ty for confirming!

Any chance anyone confirm if that file is corrupted (I do not know how to tell) and could provide me with a working BIOS file?

The size of the compressed attachment 11.71MB compared to the last one you posted , 2.26MB is much better , you made a bad backup the first time. Are you using a clip or pogo adapter ?

It was from u2201, as I had asked in a previous post to double check, just tried again, see attached and screenshot just incase.

The main bios should be at U2201. The one you posted is from another chip i think, and it wasn`t a good backup. Don`t erase anything on that chip, find U2201 and make a backup

Bios dump from SMDFlea produces only amber light on charge port, nothing else.
Bios dumps from InfoDoc2 produces the same behavior like before, amber light on charge port and fan at full speed.

Now i'm 99.9% sure it is not bios problem.
