I need bios correction for my laptop. Clean ME, Bios and DMI copied. I joined the bin file read of my bios chip.
I'm also curious to know where the DMI region is located in this BIOS (offset and size)?

I tried your file and it don't work. Black screen with fan on and keybord backlight on.
After, I tried with the bios file (version 311) in the post # 118 and I over write the DMI region with the content of my original backup(5A0000 to 5A7FFF). With this file wrote in the bios chip, my laptop start and boot in windows. But I got 2 problems: Touchpad don't work anymore and Windows refuse to activate cause by hardware change ๐คทโโ๏ธ.
Each reboot, I got prompt to update bios to version 316. I aborted the update several times but after 4 ou 5 reboot I decided to do the bios update and now I 'm back with the original problem. Black screen, fan on, and keyboard backlight on.
I think this confirms that version 316 simply doesn't work on my laptop. Why? I don't know...
With this information, does it help you figure out where the problem is coming from? Could you with your magic touch create a new BIOS for me, please?Comment

My laptop boots again with this version, but my touchpad still doesn't work. I tried reinstalling all the Intel drivers from the Asus website (chpset, GPIO, I2C, HID Event Filter, etc.), but that didn't fix the problem. In Device Manager, I have an I2C HID device with a yellow triangle indicating a boot error with code 10, possibly due to a firmware issue. (See attached screenshots.) Do you think this could be related to something missing from the BIOS file, or is it a completely different problem? I need help repairing the BIOS. The original BIOS shows symptoms of booting and the fans spinning at maximum speed. I rewrote a clean BIOS I found, and it booted, but without the SKU (serial number). Windows doesn't detect the RTX graphics card.

Hi all,
This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.
I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

Hi, I'm new to all of this so I hope I'm doing correctly and not breaking any rules.
I need help for my MSI PRO B660M-A DDR4 motherboard BIOS dump.
The motherboard got bricked during BIOS update due to a power cut in my village while updating BIOS. Now the PC is not booting. Fans kept spinning and no display is coming.
A local technician said I need the full BIOS dump/file for this motherboard.
My Motherboard model is:
MSI PRO B660M-A DDR4
MS-7D43 REV 1.0
The Bios chip is:
MXIC

The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

I can get into bios now! I reflashed as instructed elsewhere. With a minimal POST (just 1 stick of ram , GPU, CPU, no drives) I have loaded into BIOS. I am about to reinstall my other hardware components now.
The clips are such a pain to use, soldering would be a great skill to have.

Hello everyone,
I am looking for some help repairing my laptop's BIOS. The machine experienced a bad flash/corruption (wrong parameters were used during the flashing process) and currently results in a black screen with no boot / no POST when powering on.
This is what I did,
AFUWINx64.EXE P1106.rom
Instead of
AFUWINx64.EXE P1106.rom /p /b /n /RLC:E
I have successfully desoldered the BIOS chip and performed a 100% verified dump using a CH341A programmer and NeoProgrammer (multiple read.000s matched perfectly, 0% difference)....
