Before attempting a CPU reflow like in m1ch43lzm video, I'd like to flash the SIO chip first. Could you please provide me with the EC BIOS? I have an SVOD box capable of reprogramming this type of chip, although I doubt the problem lies there. Besides, on Intel motherboards, the chip normally reprograms itself automatically, right?Comment

You have to connect through SMBUS/i2c, you can connect SDA to PR106, SCL to PR105 near the battery connector, if you use the keyboard connector you'll program the secondary keyboard controller IT8258E248A (which I don't fave firmware for)Comment

Thanks to your instructions, I was able to reprogram the SIO chip using I2C (I had never tried I2C before; I thought it was complicated, but it's even easier). I was used to using the keyboard connector and didn't know it was also often used for the secondary chip. I understand my previous failures much better now.

Hi everyone,
My Lenovo Legion Y540 (i7-9750H, RTX 2060) bricked after I downgraded from BHCN44WW to BHCN21WW.
Laptop stopped booting entirely.
I used a CH341A programmer to dump the corrupted 16MB BIOS.
i then attempted the following:- Downloaded stock BIOS BHCN39WW from Lenovo
- Trimmed it to 16MB
- Extracted the BIOS region from the corrupted dump
- Extracted the BIOS region from the stock 39WW
- Replaced the corrupted BIOS region with the stock one (within hxd , opened the corrupted dump and replaced its region by the stock)
- Injected back my LDGB / DMI

I need help with my Lenovo Legion laptop. It turns on for a few seconds and then immediately shuts down. I believe this is a BIOS corruption issue.

Hello there.
I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.
History:
1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.
