    Asus S200E ACPI-incompatible BIOS problems

    hy guys.
got a little problem and its taking to long for me to solve it so i come to the neard place again.
i got this asus that won`t let me install anything.
everytime i try to boot a os it say that :
The system its not fully acpi compatible.
yes i did change acpi for hdd ;ide changed.
i try to boot only with DVD(external) ...same.
today i`ll try with ubuntu maybe maybe.
i downloaded for asus some bios files but those version won`t let power up the machine.
yesterday i got a same machine and i copy the bios but the problem is:
    - cpu soldered to the board
-mine got Pentium; other celeron. Maybe not the same bios(with the celeron bios, it powers up but no display)
Maybe someone got a same machine like mine and wanna share that bios.
if you see one like this machine plz use this tool and copy the the dam bios:

Re: Asus S200E ACPI-incompatible BIOS problems

I think universal bios backup won´t let anybody to read bios correctly. (if it is a core Ix series)
Most of core Ix platform, have ec-bios, and main bios, and that is a serious inconvenient.
Try to boot with Hiren`s, (pres F5 on boot, to circumvent acpi issues) and run Asus bios upgrade** from this environment. (**the upgrade you can dowload from Asus site)
Perhaps with a bit of luck......

[TUTORIAL] fix asus bios with bios from asus web support (by razor_amd)
                by razor_amd
With ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.

For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.

I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.

This is the picture of 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all of them being X555LD...

                ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
                by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                Some issues
                A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...

Problems with the asus x456ua laptop bios chip
                by vixeko_
They asked me to change the HDD to an SSD on this Asus laptop, in case the laptop already had problems such as it not turning on every time and the battery charge lasting very little.
and perform the task successfully and clone the data from the hdd to the new ssd
I managed to start windows on the ssd and everything was normal so I decided to restart it to measure the startup speed and when I did that instead of starting windows the laptop sent me to the bios
I exited the bios to continue to windows but when the laptop turned off it did not turn on again, it was strange but...

                Hi there,

I know there is somebody who can tell me what is happening with my laptop. For start, it is an asus vivobook s510ua with an asustek x510ua motherboard with an intel i5 7200u cpu and 16gb ram.. i have a screenshot from speccy before strange things started.. as you can see the laptop type and bios version x510ua.302.I don’t manually update the bios because i don’t like to having a bricked bios, i know what troubles that gives..

I did a fresh win 11 install, and after the automatic updates, windows rebooted and automatically started asus ez flash.....

ASUS Sabertooth 990FX REV.2 bios chip problems, probably socket shorted?
                by Biessea
                Hi there,

                I'm a technician and a computer/retro computer lover.

I just bought a great Sabertooth motherboard (I really love the colours and the ASUS military scheme) to install a nice FX-8320 from AMD and make a gaming computer with a Geforce GTX 970.

For the first time I had problems with the system, but I solved and then correctly booting, I installed Windows 10 and then I started to overclock the system. I reached a stable configuration of 4,8GHZ with 1,475v.
Then I saved fan configuration, and other parameters, and saved to the overclock profile...
