Re: Dell latitude E6400 bios password reset
The bios password is stored in an eeprom chip. Dell e6400 have a single chip while
e6410 has dual bios chips. Replacing these chips will remove the bios password.
The bios chips are lightly welded to the motherboard, so a hot air rework station
can unweld these chips in 5 minutes and a new set of programmed chips can be placed.
If anyone is struggling with the password issues , reply to my message , I do not
charge for helping. I do this for a hobby and to help people out.
Yes there are bios generators out there (with a fee of course), but Im not to fond of giving out my credit card to any unknown websites. Just be careful out there.
