Re: Dell latitude e6410 bios password
Guys just remember that if all else fails you can always try and remove the CMOS battery, which usually resets settings in the BIOS including password.
And if THAT fails, you can always remove the BIOS chip and re-attach a new one.Comment

Re: Dell latitude e6410 bios password
I was missing 4 characters in my express service tag. The first 7 were fine. So the whole tag is #584MRM1-2A7B. The computer is protected by a password authentication system. I cannot access the data on my system without the correct password.Comment

Re: Dell latitude e6410 bios password
there is no need to desolder bios chip it won't work anyways i have dealt with this on dell mini there is 3 other chips that works in unison with the bios security these days and poping the bios battery won't work either u need to attempt password three times to get a lockout code write that code down and either on ebay or underground there is a russian made software that uses altherithim to generate u a master code that will get u into the computer then u can clear the pwd if its a hardrive encryption u might as well toss the hardrive and get a new one the only hardrive cracker i have is for toshibia i am sure u can find something out there that will do other brands but i have not had success finding em but i need that lockout code and i can help ya with the bios prob i have all makes and model bios pwd gen pd 100 buxs for it with lifetime updateComment

by jhanraHi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...-

by anlsmithI am trying to remove the BIOS password for a Dell Latitude 5430 motherboard LA-L591P. So far I think that I have located the BIOS chip but NeoProgrammer says that is detects 3 chips. I have attached the dump from each one. Are any of these the BIOS file? Service Tag: 1DMC1T3. If nyone knows the exact location of the bios chip as well I would greatly appreciate it...

by TripTopHi
i have dell latitude E7270 with following symptoms:
- takes long time to restart.
- sometimes powers on and then off
- sometimes while working it just dies,
From googling online bios clean could possible resolve this?
i was able to save bios and was going to try bios clean myself but get an below error when i drop it in ME analyzer.(unsure whether this sometimes occurs or could be due to bad/corrupt bios)
As ME analyzer gave me an error i just decided to write bios with a cleaned bios from E7270 bios post.
I reinstall...-

by iwuHello,
I am not experienced in electronics, but I really want to check if my idea is possible.
I have motherboard replaced from Dell Latitude 5520 (11th gen on i5 CPU).
BIOS/UEFI access on that MB/PC is blocked by password which I want to get it know - even if I need some bruteforcing or stupid manual activities.
There was no computrace activated.
I was happy when I saw many posts about removing BIOS password based on .bin file dummps. I wanted to go little further - get to know the password from the dump.
