From what i understand ( i can be wrong)

we are still dealing with the lpc hack.
but the espi bus is much faster so it can not be done manually
now if you goto hi hi posts he gives a type of tool that can be used.
and he also gives an idea of the attack window.

Personally, I don't have much respect for those who benefit from the Forum but refuse to share solutions that were clearly inspired by information already available in its threads. I don't want "their" help. The same goes for those selling 8FC8 passwords here (they may think I don't know, but I do)
After all, what do you get when you pile trash on top of trash? A bigger pile of trash.

disturbing the mec1503 internal regulator by replacing VR_CAP with 5k up to 50k resistor mine 20k is working. ESPI_IO0 ground it before entering bios menu or use tact switch 1 second or less make sure to close the TAMPER_SW. done 4 t14 gen 2 and 1 yoga gen 6.

this work only for MEC1503

It's an interesting solution, perhaps a bit complicated for some people.
Does the solution work every time?
Do any freezes occur?
We're lacking some information.
I'm waiting to see the feedback.

i played a bit yesterday. it didn't work, but i tested only a few times (with different setups - lower and higher ohm resistors, use a tactile switch! you should use the lenovo usb stick, too for a faster boot process)... i can't confirm this is working right now, the system is much more tolerant against glitching, but the time the svp quey should be skipped, the system will eventually freeze. but there are different ways, this one is interesting...

Instead of trying to enter the BIOS, you can use F12 to boot from the Lenovo USB drive and use the "Clear EEPROM" function; if access isn't restricted, you'll be able to clear it.
If the prompt doesn't appear, or if the system boots directly from the USB drive, it's a win.
