    Dell XPS 2 in 1 7390

    Hi

Thanks for this forum! And best of luck on it's continued survival!

Need some very newbie advice - thanks! - largely to do with managing Multiple BIOS chips.

    Have
    Dell XPS 2 in 1, 7390 (note the 2 in 1 - NOT Latitude model 7390)
    Service Tag:
    56B75Y2

    MotherBoard appears to be
    Model: Centenario (DDP31)
    PCB: LA-G172P

    Issue:
Amber light with power button, keyboard lights up. Further testing happening but appears to be BIOS corruption thus far.

    As per other posts:

    Multiple BIOS chips

    there are 3 bios chip
    W25Q64BVS x2
    GD25B256 x1
    I've found -
    Winbond 25Q256JVFQ
    &
    Winbond 25Q64JVIQ

Presume GD25B256 under the fan assembly.

    Regardless:

    1. How do I manage multiple BIOS chips regarding reading and writing?
I have checked FAQs etc. and not particularly covered that I could find...

Do I read them all and combine them? Or start with GD25B256 alone (as per post above), or the 256 one above (once confirmed)
(I then obviously need to post the read chips once confirmed how to manage 3 chips)

    Thanks for you advice.

I have the exact same issue, did you mange to solve it via BIOS chips flashing? Or chips should be replaced?
    PS
I suspected overall overheating or PD heat corrupts the BIOS chips.
