Hello everyone, been lurking for awhile but first time poster. I am trying to repair a Dell 7220 rugged book and need to reset the bios. I have found some guides on how to fix the bios without de soldering the bios chip using a test clip and usb tool. I was just wanting to help verify that I identified the correct chip. Would the blue dot be pin 1?

Greetings i am in the process of reverse engineering the bios logic for the 8FC8 suffix so far I have found most of the bios functions related to the suffix from a bios dump and I have verified inputs and outputs to test with plus the chartable for the 8FC8 suffix. -

Hello everyone, I come here to tell you my problem regarding the power-on password. It is not a bios reset demand, and i can't have any access to windows. This is the bios and power-on password that is blocking all other things.
My Omen 15-dh0052nf purchased second-hand was configured with the bios password upon purchase (very simple password :P ).
Having decided to sell it in order to get something more powerful, I reset all BIOS settings and set a blank administrator password. But the power-on password cannot be changed to a blank one so I let the actual password set....
