Re: PD50PNN won't boot after BIOS Backup
Add a full laptop name to the thread title, because this "PD50PNN" alone means nothing for the people seeing the title, and besides it will facilitate future searches with the forum search engine, also attach the original bios backup, and the factory dump you've tried to program in your post. This will give you a better chance of getting help, don't you think so?
In addition, your post will comply with the rules and will not be deleted.

Clevo PD50PNN won't boot after BIOS Backup
Hello,
i hope to find help her in the forum. It is a littlebit tricky. I searched many Days about disabling IntelME that was may major task. So i have a Clevo PD50PNN motherboard.
At first i tried to Backup the BIOS with tools direcly from Windows(normaly i am a Linux user). But no full success because not every part of the bios was readable. So i bought a modified CH341a for a Backup.
Backup worked but since the backup the Laptop is not booting anymore. I flashed the newest Version oft the BIOS with success, verfiy everything ok.
But the laptop did nothing.
I searched and found out that there is a Problem with the EC when someone is manipulating the BIOS Chip.
So next step i flashed the EC with a Arduino Mega 2560 with the Version of the manufacture.
But nothing New. The Laptop is brinked. Can someone help me?
Does this happend often when i want externel Backup the BIOS?

by ilkorHi everyone,
I need help repairing/fixing my corrupted BIOS dump for a Lenovo ThinkCentre M73 Tiny.
Motherboard Details:- Model: IS8XM Rev 1.1
- Lenovo FRU: 03T7239
The motherboard was working perfectly before. The issue started after a failed BIOS update that was interrupted by Windows Security settings. After the interruption, the PC was still able to boot into Windows but I could not enter the BIOS setup at all.
To fix this, I performed the Hardware Boot Block Recovery procedure using the motherboard jumper (Clear/Recovery pin 2-3) and a FAT32...-

I'm writing to ask for help on my Lenovo Slim 7i laptop. The model number is 14IMH9 and the machine type is 83D80003US. About two weeks ago a BIOS update for this laptop failed and the laptop has been stuck in a boot loop with black screen ever since. The laptop shuts off and reboots automatically after ~1 minute then repeats the whole process again until I forcefully shut it down by long pressing the power button.

by Jonas-frI have a non booting Clevo N240JU laptop which I think as a bad BIOS as the boards seems OK. I don't think I can link to the official website of Clevo but there's plenty of drivers other there for the N240JU laptop but no BIOS.
Does anyone got a BIOS dump for this laptop? Thanks!-

by TopPopSorry for the long story. I have a Dell Latitude 5530 (i7) laptop (South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4 203102-1 FK8VG$JA) with an admin BIOS password that I want to remove. Service Tag: HYKFPT3. Other than that the laptop worked OK.
I found a CH341A Black and went looking for the BIOS chip on the motherboard. After trying to read one chip that was a firmware chip but not the BIOS I think I found the BIOS chip labeled Winbond 25Q256JVEN. Altogether I think I found 4 different firmware chips in the laptop. The BIOS chip is a WSON8 6x8. I used the CH341A, NeoProgrammer, and a cheap pogo pin clip... - Loading...
