Hello and good day,

Im just wondering if its at all possible to dump and reflash the yoga gen6 x1 bios to remove all supervisor passwords ?

If anyone has any knowledge of whats needed and a step by step guide on where to locate chip,what hardware is needed and the software or patch which is need to clean the laptops bios.
I have tried seaching and reading though posts but cant seem to find any solid info on this model. Any input would be great

You'll need to dump and write back the same file from the EC chip (MEC1663) via JTAG. I have been able to work on some models like the T series, X series, L series but for the Yoga modesl with no JTAG port seems difficult to read. I have been struggling myself for over 6 months now. I have only RT809H and hoping to get the Vertyanov(SAS) v4 with the complete adaptors

I need help with bios password for Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen 6.

Hello everyone,

My motherboard code is " HYG60/HX4B0 NM-D341 REV:1.0 ", I couldn't find a bios dump for this device.

when i want to open it for update i can never login as it is locked with password and doesn't give code for backdoor.
I have read the bios and add the following directory, if you can help me remove the password I would be very grateful.

password is in MEC1503, now solution availible

Does anyone know how I can read or encode the MEC1503? Where is the bios password I couldn't find a solution for days.

must change MEC1503 with new one, than password is clear

MEC 1503 has a small size software, do I need to find it? Any comments on how to find it?
