your bios backup has wrong length, probably you made it with AMIUCP, you have to read bios content with programmer. It has 10.485.760 bytes and should have 16.777.216 bytes.

      I used AFUWINx64 to backup.

Thanks for that. When connecting the ch341A programmer and using Asprogrammer software I couldbt find the exact model of the chip (W25Q128JVPQ) It could detect the chip and I could read and write to it using the W25Q128FVxx. It did boot up and could briefly get into the bios before it stated to boot loop, getting shorter and shorter before restarting. Not sure if I've stuffed something trying to solder wires onto the pads .. any suggestions?

write back original bios and if it behave in the same way it means your bios backup is corrupted (meaning you didn't read it properly) . With CH341A is recommended to read 3-4 times and compare results, when you have 2 identical backups it means that is ok.

                Hi Volinakis,
Thank you so much for you help. After much swearing and re flashing I finally got your modded one to work. I ended up using Neo programmer to flash it as it has the correct chip number supported. Cheers for your time and effort for helping me.

                Yeti.

post the S/N, post the original content of the bios chip, the motherboard model, etc.
