Dell P75F010 not power on, no short

    Hi,

    I've a Dell P75F010, with a FDI40 LA-G716P motherboard that don't power on at all.
I connected the MB to a bench power supply, 19v 1Amp and when I press the power button, nothing happen, no current drawn (some little fluctuation like 0.0005 to totally 0). So seem that I don't have any obvious short..

I just checked the first two mosfet that are immediately after the power connector and the first one was blown (is an AON6994, the first one will have a little hole on surface..) I replace it and now both mosfet has 19v on source.

I did some check around the board and i found 19v on some places (around the lcd connector, and so on) also i found the 5v on some components.

There is some other check that I can do? is the boardview/schematic available?

    thank you for any support!!

Check the voltage to ground of each coil / inductor on the board.

Each such coil is linked to a power rail. Is each power rail producing the proper voltage?

What is the gate voltage of the DCin mosfets?

    Which charger IC is onboard?

That Dell model requires an adapter with 3.34A (65w).
Have you tried increasing the current on your power supply?
