When the marking has an = its probably a richtek part https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...19#post1482819 Google search - richtek S2=
How many pins does it have,it might be a RT6310CGQUF https://www.richtek.com/assets/produ.../DS6310-04.pdf

Dear friends, I am working on Lenovo Yoga 7 14IRL8, no schematic available. Upon trouble shooting I found this chip shorted. There is a code marking S2=AB on this chip, but could not find this marking (View Photo). I thnk this chip is soldered on the 3.3V or 5v rail. Can someone help me finding the real number of the chip. Thanks in advance.

See the first link - the webpage has the details you are requesting. For now, unable to download the full datasheet from their website but the landing page has the pinout.Leave a comment:

I found only SY8370 but it may be close. Which board uses the SY8371B?

Another one from monotlithic power, for AQPK marking the component is NB681AGD used in the HP SPECTRE X360 13 DA0X36MBAE0 Rev.E

I believe the vendor is ONSEMI. Actually, looks more like NEXPERIA.
See here - similar style of markings:

Hello!
Im struggling a bit to identify this little 6 leg guy with the marking "-59-" or "_65_" not sure of the orientation...
It belongs to a Mac Pro 2019 logic board model 820-01136-12
No schematics or boardview available.
Can someone more experienced in this IC identification help?
Thank you

Thanks. To the OP - pour alcohol onto the top surface to clarify if the first marking is an '8' or a 'B'. Appears to be a 'B' to me. If 'B' then my guess stands. If '8' then agree with the correction - both are from ONSEMI.
Also confirm if the lower right leg is connected to anything else. If floating then 100% it is a zener diode.

by mitsu2kHello folks, I seem to have a lot of trouble when it comes to distinguishing markings on SMD components especially when it comes to the question of whether it is a 1 or an I. for example, I see components marked NI. It looks just like that. However, I cannot tell if that "I" might be a number one instead. Is there a rule of thumb that manufacturers use when using these characters? Attached is an example. This is just one example out of many I come across but it's a good illustration of my point. I appreciate any input....

by abajorHad someone drop off a laptop in which they were upgrading the ram but forgot to unplug the battery.
Looks like the ram RFI shield shorted a rail going to or coming from a Silergy IC which blasted a component off the board. I'm going to assume it was a cap but really have no way to know for sure since this board schematic doesn't appear to be in the wild yet.
I'm trying to identify the IC model now but it doesn't appear to match any of the Silergy codes from https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...-tablets-and-m... - Loading...
