Thinkpad L480 , Power On ONLY without CMOS Battery

    Hi,

i have a second L480 that had some Liquid Damage (USB-C and Ports on left). The LCD has Coffee on the left side (barely visible).

It had some Coffee spilled, the notebook was in a bag, when the thermos leaked.

The book was fine for a while and still worked, so i used this a reference when measuring voltages.
The book powered on with Power Button and was fine.

Next day i wanted to continue to repair, but didn´t realise that i had a short with the meter test leads.

Ground from Meter was connected to Board GND.
Positive from Meter was shorted to Board GND.

During Measuring of Voltage on the Thinkpad, i measured
    PJ101 and PJ203
    .

After a few second i realized, that i shorted PJ101 and PJ203 to Ground during my measurement. I had some Sparks touching the PJ101/PJ203

    I think

PJ101 VSystem2 to GND was no Problem (19V to GND)
PJ203 to GND seamed to have fried some parts.

The Thinkpad only Powers On if i disconnect the CMOS Battery.
    CMOS Battery a 3V.

    Where would i start now?
    I have Schematics and Boardview.

Assume the USB-C Port missing, where would i inject 19V direct on the board?

    Thanks

    Jürgen
