    Apple a 1708 - 820-00840 - distorted picture

    hello.
    Have this Apple a 1708 - 820-00840 that have distorted picture for few seconds, than come to normal or few seconds and than again distorted picture. flexing hinges have no effect. distortion is like thin horizontal stripes and bad picture

      In my experience this is a problem with the display itself. I had a screen on an A1466 that would start shimmering on highlights, then go away. Replacing the display resolved the problem. Do you have access to another display? Do you have the ability to check it on an external display?

          External is ok. I try another lcd

              Hi there,

              I'm looking for anyone who might have information on Apple's embedded Apple Watch charging daughterboard, ID 820-02601. This is currently used by Anker in their Apple Watch charging products, but likely by other Apple partner brands as well.

              You can see the board referenced in ChargerLab's teardown of the Anker Y1811 3-in-1 MagSafe cube - they discuss the "Apple Watch wireless charging circuit" about 2/3rds down the page. It's not pictured, but the board ID reads 820-02601-A, which sure sounds like Apple.

              I have a Samsung UN55TU700DFXZA with a distorted picture and I thought it was a bad panel. I had a similar board with one number off and still tried it to see what the issue could be. The picture came out clear with only missing blue hue I think. I found a replacement board for $30 but wanted to learn if this would be the main IC or possibly something else. I don't have service manual so looking to learn about these cheap sets....

              SAMSUNG UN55KS9000F picture fades then distorts into vertical lines after 20 seconds

              This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

              Problem
              TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...

              Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture

              Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
              - sound and backlight, but no picture
              - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
              - it keeps rebooting
              - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
              - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
              - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

              - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...
