@smdflea means-you disconnect battery/adapter first and then measure resistance on all pins of PU3.

    Packard bell ze7 help

    Hi all

I really need help from anybody, my packard bell mini laptop (ZE7) is not powering on. I only got 19v, after changing pc58 and pc46 with 220uf tantalum caps, I was able to get 3.3vpcu/5vpcu from pu3 (RT8223). But my problem is when press power to ON the laptop, pu3 will just shutdown and the voltages on pin 12 and 19 of the pu3 increases to more than 10v. I checked for short on the MB I couldn't find anything. I will be grateful for any assistance.
    Thank you
