just asking if the above mobile gpu was affected by the nvidia bumpgate scandal or was it after they fixed it? asking as im thinking of getting a dell latitude e6500 laptop with that gpu but not sure if its affected by bumpgate. it uses the g98m gpu chip. the desktop version is the g98 which is sold as the geforce 9300 series. the gf9 series is after they fixed the bumpgate problem but need confirmation from someone more knowledgeable in this issue. thanks.

Just archiving everything related to bumpgate since most stuff has disappeared from Google. Maybe people will finally take the time to read some of it and stop shouting "reflow gpu" at every occasion but rather try to understand what the real issue is…
Interesting parts about the failure analysis are "Why Nvidia's chips are defective" and "Why Nvidia's duff chips are due to shoddy engineering"
