compq CQ57 AND CQ60

I have this two laptops, cq57 will boot sometime and work ok, but sometime will not display only dark screen, even with external monitor. then cq60 only when i plug the adopter i will see the withe light by the side, it will not charge the bat and will not power up even when i press the power.
anyone with solution?

Simple, they are famous for bad chipsets. The vid cards go bad and they need to be reballed or replaced.

You can try a cheaper approach and remove everything including keyboard and one stick of ram to see if it boots. OR switch around the ram in the slots. Maybe update the bios.

But these generation are well known for chipset failure.
