    hello all,
I've already checked voltages on PQ42, No Voltage on Pin # 3, and Pin # 1 Present when i connect the charger.
But when i connect battery and check the voltages, there are 11 voltages on Pin # 4 and pin # 3 but no voltages on pin # 1. But with the battery laptop turning on perfectly. . .

Some newer DV series, ProBoook series and G series like G62 are picky about ac charger, they will not show any signs of power until you connect a genuine 90W charger. I would say to try different charger first.

Soninugum, check pd20 is 19v crosses, if not change it, nd check pc180 if it is shorted to ground. if u v got 19v on pc180 then i will suggest u change pq42, it could probably be opened.

              Hey all,
I'm gonna attach an image in which i explained on a page number # 42. When i remove Resistor PR12 (100 Ohms), The voltages present on PQ42's Gate Pin #1 +VH28.. And voltages now present everywhere. But Laptop is not turning on still. But when i connect this resistor again there are no voltages......
Please let me know what should i do?
One more thing, i changed ENE KB3926QF D2.
              But problem still exit.

so there must be something with its base signal. ACOK# must be 0V. check pq3, acok_in, acin

Remove pq47 and plug laptop. If it turn on change pq47 . This mosfet have sometime something that i call gate issue . As it share the gate line (batdis_g) with pq42 it may block it.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                          Hello guys,

I have a Philips 240B7QPJEB. The monitor seems completely dead.
I opened it and measured the voltages of the powersupply. I found that a mosfet was dead and replaced it.
On the connector, that goes to the TCON board, all voltages 15-19V and 5V are present.
The small connector on the left of the PSU has two cables with 18V and all the other have 0.2V. It connects on this small connector on the left ontop of the panel. I guess the backlight? Seens fine I guess.
The weird thing is, that the Power LED is powered over the TCON board.

I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...

Dear all, I am trying to troubleshoot an Acer Aspire 5 A514-55 that won't power on. I'll describe the symptoms and my findings so far, and I would like to seek guidance and suggestions on possible suspects in terms of cause/component failure. My initial thoughts are battery charger IC and/or ideal diode/MOSFET (that switches between incoming DC and battery power), but I could be totally wrong on this.
                                          1) Laptop was working fine on battery, then user realised battery was running low. Plugged in AC adapter but noticed it was not charging (LED on AC adapter plug did not light). Eventually shut down
