I do not want you to unsolder the components
The previous threads do not cover the 7741g model and the symptoms are different.

You need to remove the diodes d10 d11 .
They are link to ground

You use solder to mix in one leg and you heat it up and with a tweezer lift one side up and clear the solder with wick and voila presto.
Its disconnected.

If I remove both diodes and then connect the charger and try to start it up will it cause any harm to other components ?

Lets say it logical.
A diode shows direction of V.
Its one way street yee? ---> |> | ---> yes?

So why put a diode with sign showing voltage coming from ground?

Think logically

Protection from reverse ... ?

Check schematics on page 54.
Most likely the reverse protection voltage diodes, D10 & D11, are shorted.

Lift the diodes up and notebook will run normal.

They are there if you reverse polarity on charger.
