Dell Vostro keyboard metal touched motherboard

Hello people, while testing a backlit keyboard on a cousins dell vostro v131 I accidentally touched the keyboards metal feet onto the running motherboard which ultimately caused the board to shutdown. Now when I power the laptop on, the power light blinks for half a second and turns off. Continues to do it whenever you press the power button.

    The battery charges
Cmos battery removed and tried, no go
Different rams tried, CPU is builtin.

Posting pics of where the keyboard tangs (marked in yellow
) may have touched (just a guess) and up and bottom pics of the motherboard itself. Anymore needed in any other angle can be simply asked for.

A huge thanks to anyone and everyone who could contribute their bit.

u must have some short in switching power. first get a schematic and measure resistance to ground on all big and small coils.

If I may ask, by big and small coils do you mean the capacitors?
