Lenovo YOGA 7 14ACN6 Stuck in Tablet Mode

hi newbie here, touchpad and keyboard not working when os start to boot, still work on bios, i need to know which sensor causing tablet mode. thx

none of that works, but orientation sensor just work fine using sensor app from mstore, there is any chance something causing touchpad and keyboard got disabled by system after boot?

Serial IO drivers installed? Sensors for tablet mode on wrap around Yoga's are usually within the display. Need to list the motherboard part number to check.

all driver installed with no issue, only stuck in tablet mode in every os like windows, linux or any os. Only work in bios and simple os like MemTest86.iso .here the board number

Schematic only available on paid sites, but boardview is available. There are two sensors listed on the EDP connector, LID_360_SW_N and LID_0D_SW_N. Both are pulled high to +3VL_EC so assumption is that sensors are in display and pulls these lines low when activated by a magnet in the lower case. One will be for lid close, the other for tablet mode. Check RE32, LCD cable and the sensor itself. Don't know if the LCD assembly can be easily disassembled on this model.

already open the lcd, got the sensor beside webcam, try to disconnect the flex cable that goes to webcam, and yea sensor not working like orientation mode, but... it keep disabling keyboard and touchpad right when windows loader animation show up. i found the LIS2DWLTR ic under IT8300FN ic, could be thats the problem? is that okay to lift it up with hot air gun? no worry i have skill using it, just need a clue what happen here 🙃

From the boardview, I don't see how that IC is related so I am not following your logic. What is the voltage at RE32/RE56? To me, this is a logic low if the tablet mode sensor is triggered.

In WIndows 10, there used to be a button in Action centre to display whether it was in tablet mode or not, but it's been removed in Windows 11 and the function is automatic. You might try installing Windows 10 to confirm the issue is indeed Windows converting to tablet mode before you go down a rabbit hole.

I note there is also a tool for Yoga laptops called 'Lenovo Yoga Mode Control Application for Windows 11' which according to Reddit provides a solution to it getting stuck in Tablet mode. You might try installing that.

Boardview is correct, RE49, RE56, RE77, RE52 are 0 ohm and are just copper pads on the board instead.

RE32 is a 100K pullup to +3V for the LID_360_SW_N logic line. If it's low, the machine will be in tablet mode I would surmise. So the problem is either the sensor is faulty in the lid or a damaged LCD cable.
