Hello everyone,
I’m sharing here a fixed BIOS for ASUS B75M-A, rebuilt to properly solve the well-known
“FW Status Recovery Failed” issue caused by the incorrect Intel ME 5MB firmware included in all official ASUS BIOS releases for this board.
All stock ASUS B75M-A BIOS versions contain an Intel ME 8.x 5MB (Corporate) firmware.
While the system usually boots, the ME remains in recovery mode, leading to instability and the FW Status error.
This board requires Intel ME 8.x 1.5MB (Consumer).
ASUS never corrected this, so the only real fix is a manual ME cleanup...
Try our new boardview, bios, & schematic search. Over 1.3 million files for download!

by volinakisSo I had a Asus C433T Chromebook enrolled and after I modified bios I had to reinstall Chromium. I made a USB recovery stick with Chromebook Recovery Utility but I got "an unexpected error has occurred ..." message. I did try with another USB stick, etc. etc. -all steps found on internet about this issue and nothing worked.
Finally I found a site where they suggested to try with an older image and ... it worked!
What I did:
- when “Chrome OS is missing or damaged” message appeared I pressed Tab key and found: read only firmware id: Google_Rammus. xxxxx.xxx.x.... -

by anik0101010Hi everyone,
I'm working on a bricked RCF M18 digital mixer. The unit was completely dead, but I managed to resurrect the hardware doing a low-level recovery via the internal UART header and the Debug Jumper method (as per RCF Service Note 1903B).
I successfully booted from the SD card, wiped the NAND, and flashed U-Boot. The CPU is alive and I now have a working serial console at the RCF-M18# prompt.
The Problem:
The recovery script halted because the official firmware update provided by RCF on their website (.mpk format, ~1.5MB) is just an application...-
