    Razer Blade 15 Advanced (2020) RZ09-03304F42 Not turning on, 0V on coils, bios not receiving power

    I have a Razer Blade 15 Advanced from 2020 model number RZ09-03304F42 that doesn't turn on, no led light and no charging. When I supply 19v the amperage goes to 6 amps for less than a second, and then drops to 0.5 amps for 1 second and drops once again to 0.1 amps, I checked the coils and they all give 0V, or some 0.4v. The power supply is working, and 19V enter the charging port, I followed its trace and it goes to a mosfet, which receives 19.5v at source, and 17.5v at gate, and goes to the other side of the board, but the coil there's 0V for some reason. What I have found is that the 8mb bios (mxic 25l6436f) is receiving 3.3v, but the main bios (winbond 25q128jvsq) is not receiving any power, and the coils around it don't have any power either. Overall this board is very confusing, I have found some 3.3v and 5.5v voltages, but for some reason only 5% - 10% of the board is powered, the rest is 0v.

    I have put a new bios in from razer's official website and it doesn't work (16mb bios), and I have dumped another bios I have found on this forum to the 8mb bios, but it was another model and it doesn't work either. Could anyone help me with schematics, boardviews, bios or tips on what to do next? Sorry for my poor english.

    If needed I can send photos and more info about the laptop.

      My Razer Blade 15 Advanced 2021 (RZ09-0409KED3) was plugged into a big touch screen at my uni when it suddenly shut down and after plugging it into power a big secure boot error popped up. Since then it has not charged more than 1% and only works when plugged into power.

      Problem:
      I figured out it wasn't a software fix and a repair shop near me checked it out and said quote "Its a shorted IC capacitor in the charging circuit"

      Hello, I bought a Razer blade 15 advanced with I7-9750h and RTX 2080 without Display. Seller said it works with external display. It arrived and I connected it to my Samsung TV. It gave me an external Pic with windows 11 start screen. But I had no Windows account so I removed the SSD and installed it in my other laptop to install windows 10. put it back in the Razer but from this time I never got an external pic. Can anybody help me to get back an external pic?
      BTW: I‘m sure the LCD-cable is bricked and not the LCD itself.

      Hi all,

      Looking for a clean BIOS dump for a Razer Blade Pro 17 FHD (RZ09-0220, 2017). Unit was bricked by power transients during a tropical storm shutdown in Hawaii. Razer has EOL'd this product and won't provide BIOS support.

      GPU VBIOS for Razer Blade 15 Advanced (RZ209-033)

      hi,

      when I power ON this laptop it give me this red warning message:

      "the detected discrete gpu VBIOS is not meant for this system, press Enter to continue"

      Machine start and works properly. I was also able to update machine BIOS to last version 1.06.

      I attach here a copy of the orginal VBIOS stored on GPU flash memory chip.

      this laptop works but temperature rise too much. I dismounted mb and cleaned well. There was a lot of dust inside.
      I think that there is a graphic chipset issue because when I power the machine I get this error:
      "the detected discrete gpu VBIOS is not meant for this system"
      This make me think that maybe the gpu VBIOS has to be re programmed.
      BTW someone already worked on this mainboard. Near graphic board there is Winbond flash memory that I think its stored the VBIOS.
