HP Elitebook 845 g11. Bios impossible?

Is it the HP logo, and under it the "HP Wolf security" logo? That's normal, it's just the branding
Should be possible to take the SSD out and start the Windows install on another PC, then when it finishes copying files (after first reboot), power off that PC and swap the SSD to the 845 G11, Windows setup should continue from thereCan i just take out the SSD and then install Windows while the SSD is in another computer? Then put it back in again
If so will the usb ports be functional once Windows is booted? Or are disabled in bios also disabled in Windows once started?
Will be adding pictures of menus serialnumber etc tommorow
Edit :My thinking is i dont really care if i cant access bios aslong as i can remove the old Windows any other way and use the computer in a normal manner.
Thanks
The USB ports should work in Windows, you only can't change boot order/boot from external devices
Should work unless "Verify Boot Block on every boot", "Dynamic Runtime Scanning of Boot Block" and "Sure Start Secure Boot Keys Protection" settings are enabled in BIOSLeave a comment:

HP Elitebook 845 g11. Bios impossible?
Hello Newbie here, i recently got my hands om a elitebook 845 g11. For the last week i have been looking for ways to get this laptop functional
When starting I get a picture from wolf Security then bios Windows startup.
If i try other bot options the only options available are Windows on the hdd or a boot option from the Ethernet port
So bios is secured by a password and i have been reading about how to flash the main bios with CH341A + SOIC8 Clip. But no one seems to be successful with this method.
I know enough to post a dump of the main bios here but from what i have been reading it will just reset from EC, and i read that this model has a 3rd chip that needs to be flashed inside the cpu :s is thats the case i might just give up now or
Can i just take out the SSD and then install Windows while the SSD is in another computer? Then put it back in again
If so will the usb ports be functional once Windows is booted? Or are disabled in bios also disabled in Windows once started?

by 0xxHi folks,
My son clicked “Update and Shutdown” on a Razer Blade 14 (2022, RZ09-0427), closed the lid, disconnected the charger, and put the laptop in his backpack. The next day, it wouldn’t boot: only the green LED blinked, no fans, no keyboard backlight, no display. The chassis does get warm, so the CPU/GPU seems to get power.
What I’ve tried so far: disconnecting the main battery, CMOS reset with power drain (30s), using a different power adapter, and connecting to the monitor - same result.
I assumed that Windows Update was interrupted due to closing... -
by chrome_domeHello all,
I am looking into flashing the BIOS on Dell Windows laptops.
The customers want these to boot to the dialog box that prompts the user to enter the Service Tag. On a new device, this would happen on the first boot.
On older models, we could use a hex editor to blank out the old service tag and this would work. But modern Dell laptops do not allow this.
We have BIOS from brand new boards, that we thought we could overwrite old BIOS with this fresh copy but that doesn't seem to work.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.... -

System BIOS: U94 Ver.01.08.00 10/06/2023

Motherboard: ANOLE10-MV-TRIPOD / 6050A3332901-MB-A01 / 2021-11-09
This motherboard has 2 similar chips. One is on the front marked with BIOS SKT "Winbond 25Q256JVEN" and one on the back marked with U351 "Gigadevice 25B256EYIG". I ignored the one on the back and only desoldered front chip. Made a backup, made sure the reading was the same with another 3 backups.
I needed to remove bios password...-

by yellowtigerHello Everyone,
I have a Lenovo Slim 7i 14IMH9 that got stuck in a boot loop with black screen after a failed BIOS update through Lenovo Vantage.
Here are my laptop details:
- Model: Lenovo Slim 7i 14IMH9
- Serial Number: YX09M0K7
- Machine type: 83D80003US
**Problem:**
About two weeks ago a BIOS update for this laptop failed and the laptop has been stuck in a boot loop with black screen ever since. Now when I press the power button, the keyboard lights come on and the fan starts running. However, the screen remains black. The laptop...-

by Ismael_rivHi, would you be so kind as to help me get my laptop working again? I accidentally deleted the original BIOS from my laptop. I’ve tried flashing a BIOS from another laptop that’s exactly the same model and everything (obviously not the serial number), but it doesn’t work, and the BIOS files available online don’t work either. The laptop stays on without displaying anything on the screen, with all the LEDs at the bottom lit up— with LEDs 1, 3, and 4 orange and LED 2 white, and the fan spinning at full speed. It stays like that indefinitely until I turn it off. I’m getting a bit desperate,...
