Macbook Air A1932 no sound from speakers

Good afternoon All
i have a Macbook Air A1932 with no sound from speakers, but it does have sound from jack plug with corded earbuds plugged in
i have checked left and right amps in diode mode all all checks out ok, i think it is unusual for both speakers to stop working together but i have no history regardin this mac
i have both 820-01521 and 820-01124 boardview and schematics

Has anyone encountered this before?

Suggest to blow out the headphone jack connector with compressed air. To remove any possible debris that could be blocking the use of the speakers.

ive just changed out the 820-01124 board and still the same no sound
also tried anther speaker but that didnt give any sound either

think i will remove the board again and recheck

Check if the audio codecs have been man handled / replaced before you. The reason for this concern is that the audio codecs have special and reserved I2C / SMBUS IDs. Respectively, they must be purchased with the same exact markings from the offshore vendors otherwise the audio codec will not respond to the wrong addressing. I recall that we had to source from different vendors for a similar case. In the Texas Instruments datasheet (believe you are facing the same audio codec) - there is a mention of the I2C address values. From memory, the schematics reference a different address so appears to be a pseudo-custom audio codec from TI for Apple. This discussion is for a macbook with onboard codec. You have a daughterboard version.

PS: I recall this small board. We had the same and it had a shorted cap onboard. Took a few minutes to locate the bad boy and was repaired. The same daughterboard is > $100 on Aliexpress. No idea why. Confirm the full part # on this board to compare notes. My database shows a -03 and also a -04 version of this daughterboard. No idea on the differences at this time. Try an internet boot of the OS to rule out any local s/w corruption issues.
