ASUS ROG Strix G16 G614J - No power

Hi,

I’m having a problem with an ASUS ROG Strix G16 G614J laptop that came in with a no-power issue.
Checked the main power line: the first MOSFET receives 20V on the drain (D), but only 0.5V on the source (S) and 3.5V on the gate (G).
Looked for shorts and didn’t find anything. I also tried replacing the MOSFET with an identical one, but the issue remains.

How many mosfets were replaced? There are usually 2 x dcin mosfets in the power path. Very possible the 2nd mosfet is shorted. Post the resistance across the next dcin mosfet (without power to the board):

source / drain
source / gate
gate / drain
